Deadly Stabbing in Pueblo West

Authorities confirmed the victim as 46‑year‑old Scott Valencia of Pueblo West. The incident occurred on the night of November 18, 2025, around 9:50 p.m. At  a home in the 300 block of East Stewart Drive, Pueblo West. Deputies were dispatched after reports of a stabbing. Before they arrived, Valencia was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His death was tragic.

Investigation:

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) confirmed Valencia’s death, marking Pueblo County’s 14th homicide of 2025. Detectives have identified a suspect, but no arrests have been made as of November 19. The motive has not yet been released. The Pueblo County Coroner’s Office formally confirmed Valencia’s identity.

Community Impact:

Neighbors reported heavy police presence at the intersection near the home. Some noted suspicious activity at the residence in the past. The incident has heightened concerns about rising violence in Pueblo County, which has already recorded multiple homicides this year. The obituary and visitations will be announced at a future time.
