It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jim Knowles, formerly of Hoddlesden and Edgworth, who left us this morning.
Jim was well known throughout the community for his work as a plumber and heating engineer, serving many families and households with skill, dedication, and integrity. His craftsmanship and reliability earned him not only professional respect but also lasting friendships with those he helped over the years.
Beyond his trade, Jim will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the quiet strength he carried into every interaction. His legacy lives on in the comfort he brought to homes and the lives he touched with his generosity.
He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
